About this role:

The primary role for this position is to provide the leadership in engineering excellence, process improvement and lead key programs for the engineering center in Charlotte. NC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall robust design and process improvement ownership in engineering, including product development, sustaining and laboratory testing.
• Drives improvement and standardization by implementing effective processes that help product teams deliver “robust products”. (e.g. linking Engineering processes and tools with skills and competencies).
• Examines engineering process and tools and implement required improvements to achieve greater efficiencies. Monitor and improve key engineering metrics.
• Lead new product development projects and coordinate activities of an engineering team
• Collaborates with the product marketing teams locally or globally to develop product requirements and ensure that the product meets their needs when launched
• Collaborates with both internal and external teams to complete design requirements
• Collaborates with Quality organization to implement and maintain proactive efforts to improving quality of products

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of HVAC industry experience

OR

• Master’s degree with 7+ years of HVAC industry experience

OR

• PhD degree with 4+ years of HVAC industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project leadership experience and teamwork skills
• Strong communication skills required, primarily in English

• Travel: Less than 10%
