At Karmo, we're transforming the way Australians access vehicles through technology. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to lead our engineering delivery function, ensuring our teams consistently deliver high-quality software while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you'll work closely with our Chief Product Officer, Head of Product and Engineering Leaders to drive delivery excellence across multiple engineering squads.

🚀 What You'll Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple engineering squads.
• Drive sprint planning, release scheduling and cross-team delivery.
• Remove delivery roadblocks and proactively manage project risks.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to deliver strategic roadmaps.
• Lead and develop engineering and QA team members through coaching and performance management.
• Manage team capacity, resource planning and onboarding.
• Improve Agile delivery processes and continuously optimise team performance.
• Track delivery metrics and provide clear reporting to senior leadership.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.
• Support the continued growth and scalability of Karmo's technology platform.

🎯 Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Delivery Manager, Engineering Manager or Senior Program Manager.
• Strong background delivering software products within an Agile environment.
• Experience leading engineering teams, including offshore or distributed teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence or similar delivery tools.
• Ability to balance technical constraints with business priorities.
• Experience working closely with Product and Engineering leadership.
• A data-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Highly regarded:

• Technical background in Software Engineering.
• Experience within a scale-up or high-growth technology business.
• Exposure to AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or Gemini.
• Automotive, mobility or fleet industry experience.
