What you will do:

  • Coordinate backend engineering teams responsible for Pricing platforms that serve multiple countries, ensuring scalable, reliable and high-quality deliveries;
  • Drive execution and delivery across pods (squads), ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines;
  • Act as a facilitator for agile ceremonies, removing impediments and improving team flow and predictability;
  • Partner closely with Product, Architecture and other engineering teams to define and evolve solutions;
  • Support developers' career growth through regular feedback, performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Promote engineering excellence, ensuring adoption of best practices in software design, observability, and reliability;
  • Hands-on with monitoring, code review, configuration tasks and deploy.
  • Support and guide the team on technical decisions when needed, being a strong partner for senior engineers;
  • Ensure systems are designed for scale, resiliency and performance in a distributed microservices environment;
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement and DevOps mindset;

We are looking for people with:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields;
  • Previous experience leading backend engineering teams;
  • Strong experience with Java ecosystem and backend development;
  • Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices architectures;
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration ( Kubernetes);
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic or similar);
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, system integration and event-driven architectures;
  • Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns and best practices;
  • Experience with testing strategies (unit, integration, automation, performance);
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with high-scale systems across multiple countries or regions;
  • Experience with pricing, e-commerce or financial domains;
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices;
  • Experience influencing technical decisions across multiple teams.
