Engineering Co-op - Supplier Quality (AMIE)
Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively searching for a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering or Materials Science/Engineering degree, to support the Supplier Quality team in Ave Maria, FL (AMIE). The Supplier Quality team at AMIE is responsible for supporting supplier quality activities at AMIE. The successful candidate will investigate, disposition, and document supplier provided materials with guidance from the engineering staff. The individual will perform various actions (such as root cause analysis, continuous improvement, DMAIC) and will be detail oriented in the execution and documentation of these actions. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner. This co-op will run from July 2026 - December 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Ave Maria, FL facility.
Main Objective:
To support various tasks related to improving congruence between Arthrex and supplier inspection requirements, tools, and methods.
