Job Description

This role is responsible for providing day to day engineering support by creating, maintaining, troubleshooting and improving processes.

Essential Functions:

  • Support engineering by providing technical assistance and solutions when problems are encountered in manufacturing.
  • Ensure that electrical, mechanical, and chemical equipment and fixtures are kept in good working order. Maintain/repair as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
  • Improve testing procedures and document best practices. Perform training as needed.
  • Conduct and participate in measurement variation and alignment studies.
  • Ensure that the labs have the appropriate inventory of consumable items. Procure as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
  • 2+ years of engineering or technical experience
  • Hands-on material testing experience
