Job Description

Responsible for the lifecycle management of physical assets across the enterprise. Acts as the primary point of contact for all asset information, including location, capacity, and capabilities. Oversee the creation, tracking, tagging, auditing, and disposition (lifecycle) of company physical assets. Provides comprehensive support for asset data integrity, manages multiple storage facility properties for company assets. Provides coordination and expertise in the sales/disposal processes of company assets. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as dictated by business necessity.

  • Asset lifecycle Management - Manages the initiation and execution of lifecycle management of physical assets across the company. Oversee asset tagging process: preparation, printing, distribution, placement, and QR labeling; ensure accuracy and compliance with asset hierarchy.
  • Oracle EAM System Management assistance - Assists in the implementation, management, and upgrades of Oracle EAM systems enterprise-wide. Administer the asset portal, provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain data governance standards.
  • Asset Data Integrity & Tracking - Facilitate collection and maintenance of detailed asset data, including asset creation, corrections, mergers, retirements, and routine hour meters reading entries.
  • Asset Audits - Facilitate annual and line-level physical audits of assets, verify asset locations, document findings, and implement solutions to rectify audit variances.
  • Asset Storage & Obsolescence Management - Provide oversight of all asset/equipment storage locations, including direct management of offsite storage locations (logging, organization, cleanouts, upkeep, sales coordination, walkthroughs) and coordinate MRO obsolescence processes (identification, staging, moving, and sales with external vendors).
  • Asset Sales & Disposal - Facilitate and document disposal, sale, and scrapping of assets; manage buyer contacts, coordinate removal logistics, enforce forfeiture/scrap deadlines, and negotiate to maximize asset value.
  • Project & Stakeholder Coordination - Coordinate with project leaders and facility leadership on asset initiation, receiving, placement, removal, and system changes/upgrades. Provide asset listings for project managers to maximize utilization.
  • Training & Documentation -Train others in asset management processes, Oracle EAM, and audit readiness. Maintain SOPs, trackers, photo logs, and maps related to asset management.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity.

  • 2–4-year degree or Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Engineering or IT Systems preferred; Oracle EAM Certification preferred.
  • 3–5 years EAM experience in lieu of education.
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, asset management, and maintenance management software administration.
  • Asset Management & Management of Change - Demonstrated expert knowledge of asset lifecycle management, asset governance, and Management of Change (MOC) processes to ensure asset integrity and compliance.
  • Manufacturing Equipment & Ice Cream Processing Assets - Working knowledge of ice cream manufacturing equipment, supporting systems, and key equipment manufacturers to enable effective asset tracking and decision-making.
  • Enterprise Asset Management Systems (Oracle EAM / CMMS) - Strong understanding of Oracle EAM or similar CMMS platforms, including asset creation, hierarchy management, audits, and data integrity controls.
  • Leadership & Delegation - Ability to lead large indirect and remote groups, delegate effectively, and coordinate asset-related work across multiple facilities and functions.
  • Communication (Written & Verbal) - Excellent communication skills to clearly convey asset standards, audit findings, system changes, and expectations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Computer & System Proficiency - Strong computer skills, including use of Oracle EAM/CMMS and related tools for data entry, reporting, documentation, and analysis.
  • Operational & Physical Capability - Forklift and fork truck qualified (or able to qualify) with manual dexterity to safely handle small tools, tags, and physical asset identification tasks.
  • Organization & Multitasking - Ability to manage multiple asset processes simultaneously (audits, tagging, disposals, storage coordination) while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Independence, Influence & Training - Self-motivated and capable of working independently; able to influence adherence to asset standards and effectively train others on Oracle EAM and asset processes.

  • Directly responsible for systems and processes used in managing all company assets via EAM.
  • Responsible for the security and management of $5-$10 MM of Idle Asset Inventory.
  • Responsible for maximizing asset value through sales/disposal negotiations.
