Job Title: Engineering Apprenticeship Steelpark

Location: Steelpark, Wednesfield (WV11)

Salary: Year 1 £15,392 minimum starting salary - (Annual salary reviews subject to satisfactory performance and progression through the apprentice scheme.)

Length of Apprenticeship: 4 years

Year 1 Full Time College Study (Level 2 & 3)

Year 2, 3 & 4 On Site 4 days per week / 1 Day on Release to College (Level 3)

The Steelpark engineers work a 3 shift rota. Initially apprentices will work days 7am – 3pm moving to a 2-shift rota while on day release at college then onto a three-shift rota once college has been completed. This allows the business to match the apprentice with a dedicated engineering shift manager and their team.

We are also looking for people who:

• Have strong communication and listening skills
• Are keen to learn
• Are enthusiastic
• Are reliable – with good timekeeping skills
• Are able to work in a team
• Are interested in the engineering/manufacturing industry
• Are comfortable with shift working

You must have 5 GCSEs or equivalent (including English Language, Maths and Science) at Grades A* - C or level 4 – 9 or equivalents.
