What you’ll do
You’ll gain real, practical engineering experience from day one:
Work alongside R&D engineers developing the Stiltz homelift range
Build and test prototypes using 3D printers, CNC machines, and plasma cutters
Support product testing against safety and performance standards
Help record results and write simple technical reports
See engineering in action through hands-on product builds and field installations
Learn how products are developed from concept through to manufacture
Training & qualification
Engineering Maintenance Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship (Technical Support pathway)
Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
Delivered in partnership with City of Wolverhampton College
Day release: 2 days per week in year 1, then 1 day per week thereafter (Bilston campus)
Blended learning: college-based study + workplace training

What we’re looking for
Grade 4+ in GCSE Maths and English (Grade 5 preferred)
Ideally studying or recently completed a Level 2 Engineering qualification
Interest in engineering, design, or how things are made
Enjoys hands-on practical work and problem-solving
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and develop new skills
Good communication and attention to detail
Science or engineering subjects are helpful but not essential
