What you will be doing:
This Engineer/Architect 3 "Construction Project Manager" position directly manages approximately 10 to 15 concurrent public works construction projects from pre-bid through final records review. Projects are administered through individual on-site Project Engineers, consultants and their subordinate staff. These projects range in size from half-million dollars to over 50 million dollars, and are varied by scope and complexity, have many technical and nontechnical activities to be coordinated, a limited budget to be maintained and require a certain amount of public involvement. The working environment you can expect:
This position can be either located in Anchorage or Wasilla depending on the applicants preference. The successful incumbent will supervise multiple Project Engineers, develop and oversee consultant contracts, and manage scope, schedule and budget for Federal and State civil construction projects. This job may also require you to travel to remote sites, by small airplane, boat and motor vehicle.

Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect, and three years of professional engineering or architectural experience (Engineer/Architect series), or the equivalent.
