Job Description

Preferred Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience with the following:

• Significant experience in modeling for Energy Management Systems (preferably on Siemens platforms) or other industrial control systems. This includes creating substation and line displays, manipulating topology, setting telemetering points etc.
• Working knowledge of the transmission grid and its operations, including an understanding of substation equipment such as Power Circuit Breakers (PCB), Switches, Transformers, Potential Transformers (PT), Current Transformers (CT), and various substation configurations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting transmission/distribution system diagrams and substation design schematics.
• Detail-oriented with a high priority on accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds and possessing a questioning attitude.

Additional Qualifications (a plus):

• • Familiarity with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Geographic Information System (GIS) experience.
  • Understanding of protection and control systems.
  • Experience as a transmission or distribution operator.
  • Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and Insider Threat background.

In addition:

• Individual will need to pass a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and Insider Threat background.
• Individual should be available to work on-site specially during training period and for in person collaboration.
• Work location will be Lithia Springs with potential option in Atlanta with some remote location.
