Job Description

Your Task

  • Provide advanced remote support during commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting of wind farm control systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex control, communication, and integration issues across global wind farm sites.
  • Reproduce field issues in the lab to support efficient root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support site and commissioning teams by guiding them through technical challenges.
  • Validate control behavior during remote testing to meet grid code and customer requirements.
  • Monitor fleet-wide performance and contribute to continuous operational improvements.
  • Deliver 3rd_level expert support and coordinate escalations with development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions and improve product reliability.
  • Strong understanding of PLC systems and architectures, including experience with IEC 61131 3 based environments.
  • Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink for analysis, debugging, and interpretation of control logic.
  • Solid experience with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC 60870 5 101/104, DNP3, OPC UA, and Bluecom.
  • Good understanding of control algorithms, distributed control systems, and network communication fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with renewable power plant operation and grid code requirements, particularly those relevant to wind power.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex control and communication issues in both laboratory and remote field environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset and documentation skills to support 3rd level technical investigations and cross team collaboration

Your Profile

  • Degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Min 3 Years of experience
