Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical individual to join our team as a Testing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various tests on our software products to ensure optimal functionality and user experience. Your duties will include identifying and analyzing any bugs or errors found during testing, documenting results, and working closely with our development team to rectify issues. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, etc.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Understanding of database testing.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing.
• Knowledge of mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with API testing.
• Understanding of cloud-based application testing.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
