Job Description

At a high level this position is for an industrialization engineer responsible for program management of an edrive power unit program for a future model vehicle. This job includes managing milestone reviews/signoffs, developing timing plans, maintaining program financials, and supporting component/assembly releases in WERS. This position will work closely with the eDrive systems engineers, eDrive component engineers, powertrain planning, and teams from electrified powertrain engineering. This position would also cover build coordination of edrive power units for both internal testing and vehicle level testing.

  • Manage milestone cadence within GPDS parameters
  • Lead milestone assessments, report-outs (to Director level), and papers to ensure on-time approvals
  • Engage in new business proposals & business cases
  • Develop & maintain project schedules
  • Lead or support TPMT (Transmission Product Management Team) for responsible commodities
  • Act as transmission lead/SPOC in Program PMT meeting
  • Collect and enter Integrator assessments
  • Provide Finance team support
  • Coordinate with Team of Four groups and work with Purchasing to ensure we are on track for delivery
  • Drive FMA process to ensure we are on track for delivery to milestones
  • Write DRPs and drive for approvals
  • Manage BOM/FEDE-BOM
  • Support WERS release
  • eDrive power unit build coordination

Essential job skills for this role include project management, leadership, analytical thinking, teamwork, organizational skills, problem solving, and attention to details.

Looking for someone motivated to lead and manage their product to success. Self-starter who ideally understands the Ford process and is able to motivate others, identify problems, identify solutions, and communicate project status to upper management.
