
To execute flowless supplier qualification and identify the gaps in supplier Quality system- Quality, Delivery and operational alignment with Eaton manufacturing sites, communicate back to supplier & take follow up for improvement actions. Ensure supplier training and actions implemented in respective process for defect free product supply with aiming overall supplier performance improvement. People to review
"1. Follow up, evaluate and work on the approval of PPAP from external and internal suppliers from all Mobility sites
2. Lead projects in team and act as SPOC for multiple sites and customers for Projects - NPI/VAVE/Resourcing/Aftermarket,etc.
3. Identify, investigate, and Resolve Supplier Technical and/or System issues related to product or process realization to have effective closures. Should have indipendantly handled & Evaluated PPAPs of both Mechanical, electrical & Electronics parts.
4. Analyzes Supplier Issues, use of statistical and analytical tools for Supplier Improvement.
5. Implement measures to improve CAR/CAPA, Process efficiency and engage Team to achieve Goals for on time closures
6. Trouble shoot flawless closures in coordination with global stake holders.
7 Assist in data analysis and business growth for various supplier Quality process
8. Anticipate customer requirements and provide customer centric solutions.
9. Work as a co- coordinator between suppliers and internal functions/plants (Engineering, Plants, Operations, etc.) to clarify requirements, eliminate confusion, and improve closure lead time and accuracy.
10.Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on adhoc requests.
11.Monitor and communicate supplier performance of all key suppliers.
12. Support and lead process transitions through on time and accurate documentation,
13. Monitor and improve supploer First Pass yield and other Supplier Quality KPI
14. Identify, investigate, and Resolve Supplier Technical and/or System issues related to product or process realization to have effective closures - Change managements and corelation issues
15. Ensure strong engagement with all affected site Quality,SQE, SDE, SCM,CM and Engineering team.
16. Encourage & implement Continuous Improvement culture within team & at supplier end.
17. Publishing weekly report for project SPOCs and working on process improvement."
BE in (Mechanical/Production/Aeronautical/ Industrial Engineering/ Electrical Engineering)
Minimum 6~10 years of experience in, Manufacturing / or Process Engineering and Supplier Development and Quality
1.Experience in working with global customers & suppliers.
2.Knowledge of problem solving tools,APQP, PPAP, Core Tools ,CQI,GD&T and AIAG.
3.Working knowledge of statistical tools including SPC, Gauge R&R and capability analysis, Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Precision machining/Casting /Forging /Molding/Electrical parts- PCBA,WHs,Switches, IGBT, transformers is preferred as per sequence.
