Engineer Supplier Development

Support Manager Supplier Development for Competitive compliant & sustainable supplier base in Region India. Assist in deploying sub-commodity sourcing strategy in the region by working closely with Manager Supplier Development & global commodity team.

The position / About the Job:

Regional Supplier Management

Manage Supplier relationship & build a strong network of performance driven suppliers. Monitor Compliance & KPI’s of Supplier regarding safety – Quality – Delivery – Cost. Support Global category management team in deploying supplier strategies in the Region. Market Scouting for Potential New Supplier based on Gaps in Category. Support Resolutions for the identified Deviations in supplier performance. Supplier capacity Monitoring for identifying potential future bottlenecks & actions on same.

Sourcing Project Management

Work closely with commodity Teams for Local Supplier Base exploration. Participate in New Product Development / Localisation sourcing projects. Secure Timely Execution of major Project Milestones & overall timeline. Work closely with regional Quality team to secure right first-time test samples.

Regional Sourcing Office KPI Reporting

Monthly Regional Sourcing Scorecard preparation Key Raw Material Trend Tracking Report Preparetion

Regional Delivery Performance Management

This role is responsible for ensuring suppliers deliver goods on time, managing open purchase orders, and coordinating with logistics partners to guarantee seamless shipment execution. The position acts as a bridge between procurement, suppliers, and logistics teams to optimize supply chain performance.

Supplier Delivery Performance Management (On Time Delivery with Agreed lead time) Open Order Follow Up Coordination with Logistic partners

Competencies, experience and attitudes to do the job (optional - if job description is used as input to recruit and performance reviews):

• Highly self-motivated result driven attitude.
• Inquisitive approach towards new technology & mindset for continuous improvement.
• Strong ability to work with matrix organizational structure with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS tools Word-Excel-PowerPoint
• Critical thinking skill High level ability of Problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills Verbal & written.

Process knowledge:

Sourcing of Engineering Products & Supplier Development

Qualifications & experience:

• BE Mechanical or Production
• 3-4 years of experience from Sourcing of Engineering Components
• Basic Project management & Negotiation skills.
• Experience from PPAP, Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification
• Willingness to Travel Domestic
