Job Purpose/ Objective:

This Supplier Quality position would require support to Supplier Development team for development of Quality product at Supplier & Support IQA team to ensure the defect free parts are reaching to production line.

Conduct periodic audits of suppliers to ensure process conformance and improving the supplier overall performance

Responsibilities & Authorities:

Interface with IQA, MQA & Production teams for addressing the supplier related issues identified inside Rehlko India plant, for close looping the Internal and external customer complaints received.

• Plan and conduct Supplier Audit’s and monitor the closure of improvements points
• Work with Supplier for 8D closure on all DMR raised by Internal Quality team and customer issues reported by CQA/MQA.
• Get Cost debit approval from respective supplier for rework and segregation cost shared by IQA team and ensure debit done with Rehlko finance team.
• Support SD team for PPAP documents initial review and share corrections with respective supplier.
• Issue based supplier visits for analysis to avoid recurrence of the issue.
• Share monthly score card report with identified suppliers and get actions from suppliers on improvement
• Drive Supplier Improvement Program (SIP) for identified key supplier’s
• Monitor 4M and MAT release with respective supplier’s
• Prepare Monthly MIS for SD activities and present it in monthly review meeting.
• Provide physical Support Purchase and Supply chain team for delivery issues from respective suppliers wherever needed.
• Monitor Lessons learnt data for all issues and horizontal deployment of actions at supplier end.

Authority

· Supplier audit plan finalization along with team

· Monthly individual review

· To approve accept / reject the parts PPAP, PSW

· To review PPAP and suggest corrections to SD team

Relationship Management

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.

· Communicate efficiently throughout procurement and directly with suppliers’ management.

· Diplomatic approach to relationships.

Skills & Attributes:

· Experience in Managing Supplier’s for Quality stability and continual improvement

· Knowledge of quality and business systems.

· Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to present data effectively.

KPI:

KPI 1: /Supplier Quality performance/ Reduce supplier PPM for each site/business by 10% compared to 2025 baseline by Q4 2026. / Unit: Nos / Dec.26
KPI 2: / Supplier Development/Implement supplier capability improvement plans for selected high-risk suppliers by Q3/ SIP Implementation of high risk supplier( 80 20 approach) /Unit:% / Dec.26.
KPI : 3 NPD project completion /APQP ,PPAP drive with supplier for all NPD derisking parts / UNit :Nos/ Dec.26

Qualification & Knowledge:

Qualification: Engineering Diploma/Graduate preferably in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering

Knowledge: Knowledge of PPAP, SPC, MSA, Quality Tools, Knowledge of ISO 9001

Experience: Fresh Diploma , Engineering Graduate, with 4-6 years’ experience in Supplier Quality function preferably in Diesel Engine Parts manufacturing company.
