About the Role

This role is responsible for full-cycle software development, including design, implementation, testing, documentation, and support, as required. The position focuses on building and maintaining large-scale AMR/AMI systems using Java/J2EE technologies on the Windows platform. It involves collaborating on technical designs, producing architectural documents, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The role requires hands-on lab setup, troubleshooting, and adherence to coding standards and best practices. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and improvement in software engineering.

Key Purpose of Role:

This role has responsibility for development and expected to work in all areas of software engineering (Core Development, design, Implement, review, document,) as the demand dictates.

Responsibility / Tasks:

1. Excellent Communications Skills (Verbal & Non-Verbal)
2. Strong Experience in JVM languages and Java 11+ in particular
3. Cloud Development Experience with one or more of the big 3 (AWS, Azure, GCP)oGCP preferred
4. Development experience on Windows and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS or Ubuntu)
5. Good experience in Object Oriented
6. Experience in Functional programming is a plus
7. Good experience with APIs, web services and micro-services
8. Experience with PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or other relational DBMS oNo-SQL experience is a plus
9. Experience with Kafka or other message busses
10. Experience with an API gateway is a plus
11. Experience with popular web application frameworks
12. Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests (Junit, Mockito)
13. Responsible and independent team member for coding and unit testing of Java related development.
14. Experience working in a Scrum, SAFe or Kanban environment.
15. Responsible for Programming to deliver high-quality software applications.
16. Responsible for the quality and completeness of assignments, including development, bug fixing, documentation, and general product maintenance.
17. Ensure regular maintenance of Application Server and Database.
18. Angular experience is a plus

1. Must be a good team player with Good communication skills
2. Experienced and comfortable working on a globally distributed team
