What you will do:
Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Plan and execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities in accordance with contractual obligations and manufacturer's recommendations.
- Conduct comprehensive system health checks and performance assessments.
- Review maintenance findings and recommend corrective actions or system improvements.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance activities are completed within the agreed schedule.
- Verify and maintain the operational integrity of:
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV Systems
- Video Management Systems (VMS)
- Door Controllers
- Card Readers/Field Devices
- Security Management Platforms
- Security Network Infrastructure
Corrective Maintenance (CM)
- Lead troubleshooting and fault rectification activities for security systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, firmware, database, and network-related issues.
- Perform system recovery and restoration activities following equipment failures.
- Manage and resolve complex technical incidents within contractual SLA requirements.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and technical support teams for advanced troubleshooting.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide recommendations to prevent recurring issues.
- Validate system functionality and operational performance after corrective actions.
Technical Support & System Administration
- Provide technical support and advisory services to customers and security operations teams.
- Manage and administer Access Control and CCTV systems.
- Support:
- Cardholder management
- Access level administration
- User account management
- Database maintenance
- System backups and restoration
- Security system configuration changes
- Assist customers with system enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to FLSPs and junior service personnel.
Project & Upgrade Support
- Support system expansion, migration, and upgrade activities.
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
- Prepare technical recommendations and implementation plans.
- Assist in testing and commissioning activities for system upgrades and modifications.
- Ensure all implemented changes are properly documented and handed over to the customer.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and submit:
- Service Reports
- Preventive Maintenance Reports
- Corrective Maintenance Reports
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Reports
- Incident Reports
- Technical Recommendations and Upgrade Proposals
- Maintain accurate service records and asset information.
- Update service tickets and customer documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company and customer documentation standards.
What we look for:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering or any related technical discipline
- Relevant security certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the Security Systems Service and Maintenance environment.
- Strong experience supporting and maintaining:
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV Systems
- Video Management Systems (VMS)
- Experience with enterprise-level security platforms such as LenelS2, CCURE, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Exacqvision , AMAG, or equivalent systems is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting system integration, server, database, and network-related issues.
