Job Description

Purpose of the position

Toimplement &achieve OR/NS sales budgets fromallotted Industriesin his territoryfromSouthRegionProducts are from the Flow business line Report to Regional Sales Manager

In this role, you will :

  • Develop and implementactions as per strategicplans & sales objectives

  • Providesales forecasting forassigned customer base and setperformance goals accordingly.

  • Build upcustomer base by expanding to new business area.

  • Build up andmaintaingood customer relations fortop customer satisfaction

  • Market and sell products and services according to agreed plans in cooperation withIndian/Globalmanagement

  • Report business development and activities toIndian/Globalmanagement as instructed

  • Maintain closerelationshipwithcustomers todeterminetheirneeds.

  • Cooperation& development of sales channel partners.

  • Monitors / Analyses competition activities and devises effectivestrategyto be ahead of them.

Internalnetwork

  • Salesteamforsettingobjectives, guidelines and formulatingstrategy

  • Operation team, to ensure thatengineering requirements are met.

  • Financeteam, to understand thefinancialimpactof the business.

  • Service team, to ensure proper support forpost salesactivities.


External network

  • Allotted Existing and upcomingcustomers & Suppliers
  • Channel Partners
  • Relevant authorities


Basic requirements of the position


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering(Mechanicalcontrol&instrumentation,preferred)and minimum37years sales experience ofvariousequipmentsinAutomation Industry.

  • Must be experiencedinsellingIndustrialValves&Instrumentationproducts

  • Market and Customer experience & exposure toOil & Gas,Pulp & Paper,Refining & Petrochemical and EPC contractorsisa must

  • Proficient use ofspreadsheets,PowerPoint,wordprocessingand have a goodunderstanding of the use of data bases.

  • Should have handled business to big / corporate customers.

  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time


SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Essential

  • Ability to read,analyzeand interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technicalproceduresor government regulations.

  • Ability towritereports, businesscorrespondenceand procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers
