The Power Performance engineer after successful employment will work under the supervision of the global team and support local and global projectsHe/she will essentially do organization, implementation and evaluation of measurements and tests on wind turbines to determine the power performance and electrical production, in particular on power performance or power curve verification testing.He/she may need regularly travel to wind farm to install and commission data acquisition system and perform field testing.
Communication with business partners and customer relationship management
Project management and co-ordination, execution and the customer communication
Collaborate and cooperate with the global team
Perform power performance and power curve verification testing according to related standard
Evaluation of test data and deliverables
Optimization of work processes
Guard safety at test site.
Participation in an internationally operating team and providing required support in day to day activities
Communication with business partners at home and abroad
Support other testing work in the team
Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or any equivalent field
Experience in the field of power performance or power curve verification testing of wind turbine, be familar with IEC 61400-12-1 series standards
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Customer focus, commitment and independent work
Good communication skills (English speaking and writing)
Willingness to travel (within China and outside the country)
