Job Description

Mission

  • To follow the instructions of the RDS Line Manager.
  • Meeting the EHS protocols.
  • Ensuring the Production as per Production Planning.
  • Warehouse Management
  • Zero quality deviations & on time delivery as per required quality.
  • Utilisation of equipment and resources.
  • Adopting the OPEX culture as and when required.

Responsibilities

EHS:

  • Must ensure that all his team workers will use all mandatory (Safety Helmet, Safety Goggle, Safety Shoes & High Visibility Jacket) and relevant work-related PPE's before starting any activity
  • Conduct daily Safety Toolbox Meeting at the beginning shift.
  • Must ensure implementation & sustenance of all work permits.
  • Must actively participate in all Company's Safety program / drives (S7, 5S etc.)
  • Must conduct monthly BBS visit & S7 audit
  • Must coach all his team members on Safe Behaviours & initiate disciplinary action on any safety rule violation as per company policy.

Energy:

  • Identify the KPIs and KAIs targets of all the processes for self & subordinates for reduction in energy (electrical, thermal) cost in RDS.
  • Avoid idle running or under capacity of the equipment's by coaching team members and by enforcing engineering solutions.
  • Exploring use of greener & alternate energy sources to reduce the Carbon footprint as per Imerys 2030 targets (Reduction of 36% from the base of 2018).
  • Identifying I cube projects on energy reduction for each process in RDS.

Production:

  • Prepare Monthly Production Planning Product/Line wise and RM Requirement to PPC.
  • Ensure generation of WPI timely of All required material & Tools (Except RM)
  • Review & Recheck of ISO / Process/Mould Document Daily
  • Do daily meetings with workshop, Lance & PCPF Supervisor
  • Preparing daily, weekly & monthly reports & Stock management of FG /RM in RDS
  • Meeting the quality & efficiency parameters of product and Process. (no. of customer complaint &rejection %)
  • Meeting the customer service index (OTIF) as per the target.
  • Co-ordination with marketing for Lance Performance & ISO Audit
  • Follow the instructions & extend support to the reporting Manager.
  • Update SOP and HIRA regularly and Ensure training.
  • Ensure smooth operation in Job worker production (PCPF)

Detailed Job Description:

Quality Related –

  1. Follow QC instruction
  2. Visual checking of Product
  3. Coordination with Quality team for smooth online / offline testing of Product

Shop floor activity

  1. Reporting of Observation related to safety
  2. Monitoring and control of Mould assembly and mixing activities
  3. Maintaining FIFO for Raw Mix and Finished Goods

Production

  1. Updating of Dashboard
  2. Mixing and Casting of product as per QAP
  3. Sorting and Inspection Finished Goods
  4. Filling of Shift reports

General activities

  1. Shift worker allocation.
  2. Giving the Training to worker as per SOP

Developmental jobs & OPEX

  1. Sustenance of 5S and Dashboard Meeting
  2. KAIZEN initiatives and reporting.
  3. Quality circle activity for specific projects.

Statutory compliance jobs

  1. Compliance/ Documentation of IMS and ISO 50001 system
  2. EHS/ 5S audit compliance

EHS activities and compliance of audit findings

  1. Monthly audits (Internal & External),
  2. Ensuring all EHS guidelines and protocols are followed.

Profile/Competencies Education, background, level of experience

Essential/Mandatory: BSC, MSC / Diploma

Preferred:

Minimum 3-5 years Industrial experience in similar field
