Review, understand, and communicate customer requirements and changes, and TPI manufacturing and quality processes. Manage exceptions and differences between TPI sites; drive global standardization efforts. Work with various teams during new program launches, support product transfer to different TPI sites; support continuous improvement and material cost-out programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as the expert on customer’s technical requirements by reviewing and understanding all related drawings, specifications, and other files.
• Drive TPI’s global standardization efforts at the site by working with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other teams.
• Prepare and maintain supplier questions and exceptions lists for a new design or requirement change from the customer by working with related departments.
• Own and maintain Bill of Materials.
• Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products or requirements.
• Coordinate continuous improvement changes both internally and externally, including process, material, equipment, and documentation related changes.
• Confer with Management, Engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate customer requests.
• Confer with related departments concerning product design and tooling to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Support other TPI sites during product transfers.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Education/ Skills/ Experience:
• BS/BA engineering with a minimum of three to five years’ experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experiences.
• Lean experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems; Oracle experience preferred.
• Excellent communications skills with business partners in all levels of the organization in a global, multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
