What You Will Do
- Design and implement backend systems that support Web3 applications and payment infrastructures.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to enhance the scalability and reliability of payment solutions.
- Develop smart contracts and integrate them into existing systems to streamline transactions.
- Analyze system performance and optimize backend processes for increased efficiency.
- Contribute to the architectural decisions that shape the future of the company’s technology stack.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Work closely with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 4+ years of experience in backend engineering, with a focus on Web3 technologies.
- Proven track record of building scalable applications and payment systems.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to backend development.
- Experience with blockchain technology and smart contracts.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
Preferred
- Experience in the fintech or crypto industry.
- Knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.
- Familiarity with cloud services and microservices architecture.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the blockchain community.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $180K to $250K, complemented by equity participation between 0.1% and 0.25%. This is an exciting opportunity to join a pioneering company at the forefront of the fintech revolution.
