You will join our Automation and Communication department

As a Senior OT Security Engineer, Ramboll Chennai (we can also consider an engineer position for desrving candidate with less experience), you are part of an exceptional technical environment with passionate colleagues in Denmark supported by our global engineering centre. The department is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services globally within the energy sector for projects around the world. The primary focus of our services is cyber security/OT security, telecom, network, instrumentation and automation. We cover all aspects of a project including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC, follow-on engineering and owners engineer.

Your key tasks and areas of responsibility are:

• Working knowledge within an OT Industrial Control Systems which may include one or more of the following technologies: DCS, SCADA, PLCs, HMI etc.
• An understanding of Cybersecurity Frameworks (e.g. IEC 62443, NIST, NERC CIP, ISO 270001) and ICS protocols (e.g. BACnet, Modbus, PROFINET, PROFIBUS)
• Communication Systems (e.g., LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, IOT, Radio Communication, CCTV)
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments for operational technology systems to identify security weaknesses and potential threats.
• Working Knowledge with advanced Windows administration (e.g. AD, DNS, DHCP, RAS, WSUS, GPO’s)
• Working Knowledge with managing virtual environments including performing network
  
  troubleshooting (VMware, Microsoft Hypervisor)
• Experience with Backup & Recovery Technologies in OT environments.
• Experience with Host-based security technologies including end point protection
  
  technologies (e.g. Antivirus, DLP, Host IPS, Whitelisting)
• Design and implement security controls and measures to protect OT systems from cyber threats, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, access controls, and network segmentation.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices related to OT cybersecurity and make recommendations for security enhancements.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams regarding OT security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure the security of OT systems and evaluate their cybersecurity capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in an engineering discipline ideally with Cyber Security Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer and Electronics engineering.
• 5 to 7 years for Engineer position & 7 to 10 years for Senior Engineer position - in project security, preferably in an Operational Technology (OT) environment.
• Solid understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other OT technologies.
• Knowledge of OT-specific protocols and standards such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, and OPC.
• Experience in designing and implementing security controls for OT systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Familiarity with network segmentation techniques and security architectures for OT systems.
• Experience in Industrial communication network and system security IEC 62443 standards.
• Knowledge of NIST Cyber security framework.
• Good knowledge of Cyber security principles, theories, and techniques.
• Cyber security certification on IEC 62443 (at least 1/2 out of 4)

• Excellent communication skills in English are a must and Danish language knowledge is an advantage
