The MES Engineer position focuses on supporting, maintaining, enhancing, and implementing manufacturing systems while collaborating closely with business leaders, system users, and cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for PLC development and support, application development and support, and resolving system-related issues across multiple shop floor technologies, including MES, SPC, SQL, and PLC integration. Additionally, the MES Engineer provides technical support for machine connectivity, reporting, and analytics, with a primary focus on improving quality, yield, equipment efficiency, and overall machine integration.
• Work is performed across multiple sites, office setting, warehouse floor (cold environment) and in various locations as needed.• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
