Lycopodium Philippines is currently recruiting for a Engineer - Mechanical Package to join our growing Engineering team in Manila.

The Engineer - Mechanical Package is responsible for the scheduling and cost reporting, post-award change management, risk and technical compliance in alignment with Company approved systems and procedures.

The tasks you'll perform

  • Ensure package activities comply with project, client, statutory, and quality requirements.
  • Manage assigned package(s) in accordance with approved cost and schedule targets.
  • Monitor progress against key milestones and proactively address deviations.
  • Support forecasting of package costs, commitments, and schedule performance.
  • Coordinate technical reviews, vendor documentation, and design interfaces.
  • Facilitate timely resolution of technical queries and design issues.
  • Manage vendor performance from award through manufacture, inspection, delivery, and close-out.
  • Monitor fabrication progress and expediting requirements.
  • Coordinate disciplines to ensure deliverables are aligned and integrated.
  • Ensure change management procedures are followed.
  • Assess impacts of scope changes on cost, schedule, and risk.
  • Maintain accurate package records and supporting documentation.
  • Provide accurate and timely package status reporting.
  • Maintain package registers, action lists, risk registers, and procurement trackers.
  • Escalate emerging issues, risks, and opportunities promptly.

The expertise you'll bring

  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • 3+ years of post-graduate experience.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
