PRIMARY PURPOSE:Take-charge high-performance cable quality improvement. Take charge customer quality improvement, involve process issue resolve.Create and maintain quality documents associated with assigned products/ processes, improve process quality performance and give technical support to QC inspectors. Prepare for customer process audit.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Handle customer quality issue as leader inside Molex DG and work as contact window with customer or other Molex entity.
2.Create and maintain quality documents associated with assigned products/ processes.
3.Drive to improve the process yield and reduce CoPQ.
4.Support quality supervisor for quality system maintenance, including involve process audit and finding action taken and follow up.
5.Customer audit preparation and findings follow up.
6.Coach QCs for quality control, make sure all of them understand the key quality control points and criteria.
7.Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
8.Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
SCOPE:Work independently to work with customers for quality issue settlement. Also expected to work independently in the improvement of process quality issues and process yield with internal cross function team. Expected to be skilful on quality tools utilization such as 8D, SPC, six sigma, 5why analysis.
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED:BS in Science or Engineering
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:5 years minimum in quality improvement
PREFERRED:Have working experience on high-speed cable assembly industry
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
• Good at Statistical technique SPC, problem solving, basic DOE, MSA, basic knowledge in ISO 9001
• English reading, writing and speaking
• Good sense of urgency and accountability
• Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
• Basic computer skills
PREFERRED:• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
