About Our Client

Our client is a well-established organization focused on operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. The organization is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations, technical teams, and improvement initiatives.

The Engineering Manager will oversee engineering activities, projects, resources, and technical teams while ensuring quality, safety, cost efficiency, and timely project delivery. The role will also drive process improvements and provide technical leadership across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team and day-to-day engineering operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects and technical activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Develop and implement engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
• Manage engineering resources, manpower, budgets, and project priorities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams.
• Monitor engineering performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Coordinate with production, operations, procurement, and other internal departments.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor project risks, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare engineering reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance updates for management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Professional engineering qualification or relevant professional membership will be an advantage.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, including managerial or leadership experience.
• Strong experience in engineering operations and project management.
• Proven experience managing and developing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent project planning, budgeting, and resource management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering/project management software.
