Job Description
Key Responsibilities
(Includes, but is not limited to)
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the property
- Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps, boilers, water heaters, water softeners, HVAC systems, gas equipment, and related systems
- Install, modify, or redirect electrical circuits as needed
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct daily facility rounds and proactively address maintenance needs
- Re-lamp lighting throughout the property as required
- Assist with installation and reconfiguration of gaming floor layouts as needed
- Utilize diagnostic tools including amp meters, voltmeters, ohm meters, pressure gauges, and similar equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and perform work in the safest and most efficient manner
- Maintain working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building and safety codes
- Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and other departments regarding maintenance needs
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to safety and detail
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Journeyman Engineer status preferred
- Experience maintaining commercial or hospitality facilities preferred
Physical Requirements
- Mobility for up to 90% of the shift
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching (floor level to 12 feet), and climbing ladders and stairs
- Ability to crawl in confined spaces such as attics and access areas
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate tools and equipment
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Normal vision (including color distinction), hearing, smell, and touch required
- Ability to communicate via phone, radio, and other communication devices
- Regular and predictable attendance required
Working Conditions
- Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to hot, cold, noisy, smoky, or dimly lit environments
- Work in confined or elevated spaces including catwalks and attic areas
- Exposure to chemicals and maintenance-related substances
- Frequent interaction with staff and occasional interaction with guests
