Required Skills and Experience:
Capable of performing the following functions:
1. Detailed knowledge of safety requirements as defined in MIL-STD-882E, Safety as well as Environmental and Occupational Health (ESOH) requirements as specified in DOD, SECNAV, and NAVSEA instructions.
2. Detailed knowledge of System Safety Programs, the Programmatic Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Evaluation (PESHE), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Executive Order (EO) 12114 Compliance Schedule, and Hazardous Material Management Plan (HMMP).
3. Institutional knowledge of the Weapons System Explosives Safety Review Board (WSESRB) and Software Safety Technical Review Panel (SSSTRP) process and procedures.

Degree Requirements:
Required: Bachelor's level degree in any technical discipline.
