Introduction

This position is forIntegration&YieldEngineerin GLOBALFOUNDRIES' India center atBangalore, supporting300mmwaferfabsin Malta, US.The candidate willbe responsible forelectrical characterization, yield analysis, and productionlotsdisposition to drive product and line yield and support various and manufacturing operations

Your Job

• Monitor electrical performance trends, disposition of holds at electrical and sort test, support general/urgentfaboperational issues, scrap investigation and analysis for process change review boards

• Candidate will drive yield improvement activities for multiple products by analyzing failing electrical parameters andperformeffective data mining to find the root cause.

• Develop and improve yield characterization and data analysis methodologies to rapidlydetermineyield limiters, correlation to in-line defectivity and metrology, and electrical parametric signals

• Support process module engineering activities through electrical test, inline metrology, and yield analysis to improve cost, cycle-time, and manufacturing robustness.

• Liaise with Customer Engineers to resolve customers’ technical& yieldconcerns and meet the requirements.

• Run DOE tooptimizeprocess margins anddetermineprocess & ET specifications

• Clear reporting and communication of issues to home teamson a daily basis

• Must be flexible in job assignment and ready to work on weekend shifts on a rotational basis as required by the business

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.S./M.Tech with 0-2 years of relevant experience inElectrical/ElectronicsEngineering, Photonics Engineering or Applied Physics

• Knowledge of circuit design and test, solid state device physics, submicron FET architectures, and the implications of electrical characteristics and performance on yield and product behavior

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a globally matrixed team or environment

• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates with hands on experiencein circuit design, characterization, test, yieldenhancementand/or product engineering

• Working knowledge of semiconductor processing and process integration

• Good understanding of photonics
