What You Will Do:

As an EIT, you will play an essential role within our Operations & Engineering department , reporting to a Senior Engineer. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Designing for basic above and below ground facilities;
• Recommending system routing;
• Maintaining computer design files;
• Leading projects through their project life cycle;
• Providing cost estimates and forecasts; and
• Assisting in the creation or revisions of the Standard Practice Manual.

What You Will Bring:

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , preferred disciplines are Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering;
• Registered or eligible for registration as an E.I.T with APEGA;
• 0 to four (4) years of related experience;
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License;
  • An acceptable driver's abstract is also required for this position.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Beginner modeling software skills;
• Experience with CAD Drafting software;
• Proficient in MS Office Suite;
• Exceptional organizational skills;
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to collaborate;
• Demonstrated problem solving skills; and
• Effective team player.
