Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Kansas City office. This engineer will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of project types with many different structural materials. This position will provide opportunities to gain experience in both new building structural design and existing building investigations and retrofits.
A typical work week can include engineering calculations, drawing development, Construction Administration tasks, and site visits. This position allows for interactions with owners, architects, and contractors early in your career as you build relationships throughout the project life cycle. While many of our projects are located in Kansas City, Martin/Martin’s national footprint provides opportunities to work on projects around the country.

This position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:
The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual’s job-level and annual company performance.
Martin/Martin provides ongoing internal continuing education, training, and mentorship, reimbursement for PE/SE licenses, and direct support for active participation in professional organizations.
