About the Role
In this role, you will support civil and geotechnical engineering projects from investigation through design and construction support. You’ll work as part of multidisciplinary project teams, contribute to technical deliverables, assist with field reviews, and help prepare reports, design packages, estimates, and proposals.
This position is well suited for someone who is technically curious, eager to learn, and interested in building a strong foundation across both design and field-based project work.
What You’ll Be Working On
• Supporting municipal infrastructure, utility, transportation, and development projects
• Assisting with civil and/or geotechnical engineering designs, reports, construction packages, and estimates
• Coordinating site investigations under the direction of Engineers of Record
• Completing field reviews, inspections, and site assessments
• Supporting construction management and field inspection assignments as required
• Participating in multidisciplinary project teams
• Interfacing with clients to understand project requirements
• Supporting proposal development and project pursuits
• Building technical skills across a variety of project types, not limited to design-only work
What We’re Looking For
• Civil or Geotechnical Engineer with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Registered as an Engineer-in-Training with EGBC and/or APEGA
• Strong technical writing and project coordination skills
• Team-oriented, flexible, and willing to support a variety of project needs
• Familiarity with MMCD or CCAC is considered an asset
• Experience with Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HY-8, PCSWMM, DeepEX 3D, ReSSA, or GeoStudio is considered an asset
• Strong willingness to learn and continue developing technical competencies
• Valid driver’s licence
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated annual base salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
Please note that this range reflects base pay only and does not include the competitive bonus program or the comprehensive benefits package offered by RAM Consulting.
