Thermo F isher Sc ient if ic is seek ing a h ighly sk illed DevOps Eng ineer IIIto des ign, bu ild, and scale secure, rel iable, and automated cloud infrastructure support ing m iss ion-cr it ical platforms.

Th is role requ ires a hands-on eng ineer who can independentlydes ign and implement C I/CD systems, opt im ize cloud env ironments, and dr ive DevOps matur ity across teams. You w ill play a key role in improv ing deployment veloc ity, operat ional res il ience, and infrastructure scalab il ity.

Key Respons ib il it ies

• Des ign, implement, and opt im ize C I/CD p ipel ines us ing Jenk ins and G itHub Act ions to improve deployment frequency and rel iab il ity

• Manage and ma inta in on-prem ise L inux servers, includ ing patch ing, upgrades, performance tun ing, and l ifecycle management
• Lead and support product ion release act iv it ies, ensur ing deployment rel iab il ity, rollback read iness, and post-release val idat ion

• Des ign and manage scalable AWS infrastructure us ing Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best pract ices

• Execute conta iner izat ion strategy and opt im ize Docker-based workloads

• Improve system rel iab il ity through mon itor ing, observab il ity, proact ive alert ing, and automat ion

• D iagnose and resolve bu ild fa ilures, p ipel ine performance issues, and dependency confl icts

• Reduce operat ional to il through scr ipt ing and automat ion (Bash, Terraform, tool ing enhancements)

• Partner w ith development teams to embed DevOps pr inc iples and improve developer exper ience

• Mentor jun ior eng ineers and contr ibute to DevOps standards and arch itectural dec is ions

Requ ired Exper ience

• 5+ years of exper ience in DevOps, Cloud Eng ineer ing, or Systems Eng ineer ing

• Strong hands-on exper ience bu ild ing and ma inta in ing AWS-based infrastructure

• Proven exper ienceimplement ing C I/CD p ipel ines in enterpr ise env ironments

• Sol id exper ience w ith Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Strong L inux systems expert ise (Ubuntu and Deb ian preferred)

• Exper ience w ith conta iner izat ion technolog ies (Docker)

Preferred Exper ience

• Exper ience des ign ing h ighly ava ilable, scalable cloud arch itectures

• Fam il iar ity w ith conta iner orchestrat ion

• Exper ience implement ing mon itor ing and observab il ity solut ions

• Understand ing of cloud secur ity, compl iance, and governance best pract ices
