Whatyou’lldo in this role:

The primary purpose of this position is toapply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Ensures Integer internal and external customersexpectations are met or exceeded

  • You adhereto Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Youwilldevelop new and unique approaches tochallengingproblems andwork on projects thatadvanceInteger’stechnological capabilities

  • You will investigate and interpret internal or externaltechnology andbusiness trends and recommendbest practicesto the organization

  • You will evaluate,developand implementa wide range ofnew technologiesof moderate scope and complexity

  • You mayidentifyandprocurethenewequipmentand technologyofmoderate complexity,scopeand cost

  • You will originate new documents such as protocols, reports,specificationsand work-instructions; and you may also reviewdocumentationworkproductof peers andothers

  • You will plananddevelop engineering projects concerned with unique problemsor team challenges,which haveanimportantimpact on moderate to large programs

  • You may lead cross-functional teams or projects withminimalresource requirements, risk and or complexity and maybegin developing the skills toinfluence others to achieve goals.

  • You willinitiateand maintainrelationshipswith individuals and business units withinyoursite ororganization

  • You will be proficient in specialty areas or technologies and are building advanced skills to become asubject matter expertAs a result, you maybe directed to deploy yourexpertiseacross multiple organizations and/or locationsAs a result, occasional travel may berequiredin this position.

  • You embed Quality within the Engineering discipline – “I own Quality.” You are a standard bearer for Quality in everything we do at Integer, by assuring adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS),facilitatingand/or contributing to corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to the successful attainment of our quality KPI’s and journey to 5 Sigma.

  • Strategy Alignmentthrough Site Hoshin Plans, the regular cadence of Sales, Inventory, and Operations’Planning (SiOP) meetings, and regular updates to thevalue streammaps.

  • Leadership of Sustained Changeby ensuring productionmonitoring &improvementactivities and deployment of Leader Standard Work

  • Standardizationthrough workplace organization & visualcontrols (5S), Manufacturing Standard Work, and robust training & certificationprograms

  • Associate Engagementpromoted through the adoption of standardized problem solvingmethodologies,behavior-basedsafety programs, and improvementideaand suggestion systems

  • Systems & Process Optimizationthrough adoption of principles of b uiltin quality, optimized scheduling & material system designs, work cell design, and total productive maintenance

  • Innovation and ideation are critical aspects of yourroleand you will be expected to generate continuous improvement suggestions and support the implementation of them.

  • Yourexpertisecoupled with your accomplishments and collaboration with others to deliver results will also be considered.

What sets you apart:

  • You earned, as aminimum,aBachelor’sDegreein an engineering or relatedtechnicalfieldand may have earned aMaster’sDegree

  • You are technically seen as a very competent technical contributor, a recognition you have earned through 5+ years of progressive engineering and/or technically focused roles and experiences.

  • Candidates who do not meet the education requirement may be considered with 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • You have a strong technical and problem solving foundation, and preferably training and certifications, in a variety of problem-solving and project management methodologies such as 6-Sigma (green belt as a minimum, black belt preferred), 8D, RCA, 5-Why, Ishikawa (Fish Bone), Kepner-Tregoe, PMP.

  • Your abilities toobserve, analyze and develop solutions to challenging technical issues result in the delivery of measurable results in areas such as productivity, technical capabilities, capacities, or other competitive differentiators.

  • You work independently as well as collaboratively with cross functional teams.

  • You willdemonstratethe ability to lead team activities and act as a coach for other less experienced associates.

  • Clear and professional communications to all levels of the organization are important in thisroleand you will have well-developed written and oral communication skills.

  • Youmaintainacalm demeanor that transcends the high energy, constantly changing production environment

  • Youpossessapositive, can-do attitude with an underlying belief that failure is not an option

Specialization:

Support and develop Coating process to optimize material performance and process efficiency. Lead, plan, and coordinate detailed phases of process characterization activities to include new products with unique attribute requirements. Create validation protocols and process development through statistical modeling and experimentation where required. Experience with material analytics and equivalency studies and prior knowledge of material surface preparation, a distinct advantage. Medical or other coatings experience including spray, dip, and continuous reel to reel coating processes.

Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
