Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, test, and document DCS and batch automation applications.
  • Develop control strategies, sequences, interlocks, HMI displays, and batch logic.
  • Participate in FATs, SATs, commissioning, startups, and customer training.
  • Troubleshoot control system and integration issues.
  • Lead small projects or major portions of larger automation projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support technical knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with customers, project managers, and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of industrial automation or control systems experience.
  • Experience with DCS platforms and process manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of ISA-88 batch automation principles.
  • Experience with system testing, commissioning, and startup support.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in chemical, food & beverage, life sciences, consumer products, or other process industries.
  • Experience with one or more major DCS platforms (e.g., Emerson, Honeywell, ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, Yokogawa, or similar).
  • Knowledge of industrial networking, MES, historians, or manufacturing systems integration.
