Your role at Baxter:

As Engineer II, Facilities you I’ll be responsible for supervise the operation and maintenance of the plant and the utilities systems that support the manufacturing operations of the Plant. You I’ll also coordinate resources for critical systems regulatory compliance, operation, availability and efficiency of critical, primary, secondary and auxiliary equipment, maintain compliance with 6's programs, cleaning, Pest Control, Lean Energy, EHS and safety management Physical and assets of the Haina plant.

The facilities team is essential for plant operations as it supports critical activities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinate and supervise resources to ensure planning, installation, validation, and operation follow local and international regulatory parameters for critical system medical device plants (Pest Control, Compressed Air, HVAC system, Water System).

  • Assure facility/Equipment/Utilities preventive maintenance program and process performance to increase their efficiency as manufacturer specifications.

  • Supervise and coordinate actions and resources to keep the key performance Indicators of the department constantly improving.

  • Create a plan to comply with all Lean Energy program guidelines for facilities management systems.

  • Maintain focus on smart expense in departmental resource management and execution projects by contractors and technical staff.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering field.

  • (2-3) years of experience in related field required.

  • (2-3) years of experience in coordination or supervision role.

  • knowledge of critical systems (compressed air, HVAC, water system), specifications and procedures (preferable).

  • Bilingual.

  • U.S. visa and valid passport (Preferred).

  • Ability to drive operational excellence, promote teamwork, communicate effectively.

  • Knowledge of GMPs, FDA guidelines, purchasing practices and process validation.

  • Maintain industry contacts and be involved in industry interest groups.

  • Proven track record of management/leadership effectiveness.

  • Demonstration application of engineering principles on individual/small projects.

  • Uses computer applications to perform project management.
