The Opportunity
The Engineer - Identity Lifecycle Management is an entry-level position designed for individuals starting their career in identity lifecycle management. The role focuses on supporting SailPoint IIQ operations, performing QA testing, and resolving basic support tickets. This is anindividual contributor role.
Working under guidance from senior developers. This is a hybrid remote and office-based role in Sri Lanka, aligning with the local job requirement guidelines. Primary shift: [2:00 PM - 10:00 PM SLST, 3:30 AM – 11:30 AM CDT] with flexibility. Most work is performed Monday through Friday virtually using collaboration tools and video conferencing. Our team has occasional on-call support.
Responsibilities:
Support & Troubleshooting Triaging and resolving low-complexity tickets in the team’s queue
QA & Testing SupportTesting activities for new integrations, patches, and lifecycle changes
Development Support Assisting with minor SailPoint IIQ configurations under guidance
Documentation & Learning Documenting processes and actively build IAM knowledge
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience
An advanced degree or IAM-related certifications
1–2+ years in IT or IAM (internships or coursework acceptable)
Exposure to Java, SQL, or scripting languages a plus
Must be eager to learn and grow into IAM development
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Team-oriented and detail-focused
