The EHS Engineer leads the strategic execution of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs at our Cavite manufacturing site, ensuring the highest standards of safety, environmental protection, and operational excellence. It drives compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 while proactively managing risks and embedding a strong safety culture across the organization.

As a key leader, you will champion continuous improvement, strengthen emergency preparedness and business continuity, and serve as a trusted partner to both employees and management—shaping a safe, resilient, and high-performing workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in the planning, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and site operational requirements
  • Drive and sustain compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards by managing audits, documentation, corrective actions, and continuous system improvements, while ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Promote and embed a proactive safety culture by encouraging employee engagement, reinforcing accountability, and integrating EHS practices into daily operations and decision-making at all levels
  • Lead comprehensive risk management activities, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementation of effective and sustainable control measures to minimize incidents and exposures
  • Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on EHS risks, compliance requirements, and best practices to support informed decision-making
  • Oversee the effective implementation of contractor management and permit-to-work systems, ensuring all third-party activities meet company safety standards through proper orientation, monitoring, and enforcement
  • Manage incident and near-miss reporting processes, ensuring timely investigation, thorough root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement
  • Support and strengthen organizational resilience by developing, maintaining, and executing business continuity plans (BCP) and emergency response procedures, including drills, training, and readiness assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics) or a related field
  • 2 - 5 years of EHS experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing environments
  • Solid knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, risk assessment, and hazard control
  • Strong familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and hazardous chemical/waste management practices
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence, engage, and drive accountability across teams
  • Effective communicator with strong written and verbal English skills
  • Highly adaptable, assertive, and capable of working in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment
