Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability
Oversee workshop operations, including repairs, servicing, and breakdown management
- Diagnosing faults, performing root cause analysis, and minimizing downtime
- Monitor and control maintenance costs within budget
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Lead and develop the workshop team to improve performance and skills
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) policies and safe work practices
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and internal procedures
- Manage spare parts, inventory, and supplier coordination
Provide technical support and collaborate with management on operational improvements
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in heavy equipment or vehicle maintenance
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, diagnostics, and workshop operations
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and ISO standards
- Technical expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, planning, and team management abilities
- Basic budgeting and cost control knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Office (ERP knowledge is an advantage)
- Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
