Job Description

Your Tasks:

  • Within the Design and Integration team in TIE, he/she will be a key driver in the mechanical design for the modules Blade, Hub and Nacelle.
  • Define space allocation models for components and perform the geometrical integration of systems in the wind turbine layout.
  • Prepare and moderate design reviews in collaboration with other departments inside Nordex and external suppliers.
  • Create the layout design considering geometrical requirements coming from Product Management, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Service and HSE.
  • Identify synergies across projects and products to increase reuse of parts and decrease complexity and cost.
  • Determine the scope of new design based on Engineering Change Request.

Your Profile:

  • Deep knowledge in CAD and PLM tools, Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred.
  • Expertise in handling large assemblies.
  • Experience in the field of configuration management and modularization.
  • Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
  • 5-7 years of experience in relevant area.
