Job Description

Engineer will serve as the cognizant engineer for one or more facilities mechanical systems. Systems include air, gas and fluid systems that support reactor safety, submarine safety and/or production. Primary responsibility is to ensure the system will support shipyard needs and schedule. This individual will be responsible for understanding the operating characteristics of the system, operating procedures and limitations, monitoring preventive maintenance completing and trouble ticket adjudication.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors of Science (or higher) in Engineering
  • 0 - 5 years of post graduate Engineering experience

Preferred:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • Prior experience in facilities
