The Role

We are currently seeking an Engineer – Drainage & Flooding with experience in transport or infrastructure projects to join our Sydney team. This is a permanent opportunity supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects across NSW and nationally.

With a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a Civil / Hydrology / Drainage professional with an interest in drainage design and flood modelling to contribute to a highly capable multidisciplinary team.

With 2+ years’ experience, this is an opportunity to further develop your technical skills, working alongside experienced engineers to deliver high-quality analysis and design outcomes that meet client and industry standards.

You will have gained your experience within an engineering consultancy (or similar environment) and bring a collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the discipline.

Suitable applicants will have:

  • Degree qualified – Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering or similar)
  • 2+ years’ experience in drainage design, stormwater management and/or flood modelling
  • Exposure to infrastructure projects (roads, highways, rail or urban development)
  • Familiarity with relevant Australian standards and guidelines
  • Experience using (or willingness to learn) relevant software
  • Ability to contribute to technical deliverables and support project teams in meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from senior engineers
