
Distribution Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Engineer to join the G.R.I.D. Edge team within Distribution Engineerings System Design department. The System Design department is responsible for high tension, renewable and distributed generation analysis and interconnections, overall system analysis, design, standards, and engineering computer applications. The G.R.I.D Edge team is responsible for studying the interconnection of distributed energy resources (DERs) on our overhead and underground network electric grid. This includes, but is not limited to, performing technical analysis, commission testing, design review, meeting with customers, and participating in utility and developer working groups to remain up to date with technologies and the technical direction of the market. We are looking for candidates who are self-starters and possess a deep sense of personal accountability. Successful candidates take ownership of their tasks and look for opportunities that help make the overall process of interconnection better to help meet our energy goals. The candidate must understand the importance of our commitment to safety, operational excellence, and the customer experience.
