The pay range is $75,400.00 - $135,700.00

As an Engineer,you serve as a technical specialistindelivering the engineering that powers the product. You develop keen insight into the technical architecture and design to deliver robust and scalable software components. You constantlydemonstratethe depth of yourexpertiseby solving engineering problems. About you:
•4-yeardegree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of software development experience
•Demonstratesfamiliarity with current and emerging technologies in own scope of responsibility, and develops ability to apply these technologies
•Proficiencyin at least one programming language such as Java, Go, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Foundational understanding of software engineering practices including data structures, debugging, testing, version control, code reviews, and writing maintainable code
• Familiarity with cloud, platform, or distributed systems concepts such as APIs, containers, Kubernetes, networking, storage, messaging/streaming, observability, or service reliability
• Ability to learnnew technologies, tools, and domains quickly, and apply that learning to solve engineering problems with guidance from more senior engineers.
• Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
This position willoperateas a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A HybridFlex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performedboth onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually,depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
