Civil Engineer – Invercargill
We have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing Invercargill team. This is an exciting role where you’ll contribute to a diverse range of infrastructure and community-focused projects, while continuing to develop your technical capability and project delivery expertise within a supportive, collaborative environment.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions across a broad portfolio of projects, including transportation, water, and general infrastructure.
You will:
Contribute to the design and delivery of civil and water projects
Assist with project management, including budgeting, reporting, and programme delivery
Undertake investigations, analysis, and technical design
Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
Support construction monitoring and supervision activities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
About you
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering (experience in a consulting environment preferred)
Experience in design and delivery of a variety of infrastructure projects
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
A client-focused mindset and a collaborative approach
A full, clean driver’s licence
This position is full time, 40 hours and 5 days per week. The remuneration range for this position is $90,000 – $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
