Civil Engineer – Invercargill

We have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing Invercargill team. This is an exciting role where you’ll contribute to a diverse range of infrastructure and community-focused projects, while continuing to develop your technical capability and project delivery expertise within a supportive, collaborative environment.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions across a broad portfolio of projects, including transportation, water, and general infrastructure.

You will:

• Contribute to the design and delivery of civil and water projects

• Assist with project management, including budgeting, reporting, and programme delivery

• Undertake investigations, analysis, and technical design

• Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documentation

• Support construction monitoring and supervision activities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

About you

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering (experience in a consulting environment preferred)

• Experience in design and delivery of a variety of infrastructure projects

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

• A client-focused mindset and a collaborative approach

• A full, clean driver’s licence

This position is full time, 40 hours and 5 days per week. The remuneration range for this position is $90,000 – $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
