Job Description

Specific Job Functions:

• Possess Advanced Diver Certification and the ability to adhere to guidelines set by OSHA for Safe Diving Procedures.
• Experience with spot lighting, rope fence rigging, metal fabrication, woodworking, and painting.
• Experience with power tools, hand tolls and fabrication using fixed shop machinery.
• Conduct department safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment at all times by conforming to established safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and plumbing systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor, ability to pay attention to detail and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Ability to adhere to departmental and company practices, polices and procedures.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of five years’ experience working with plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry required.
• Previous experience with spot light operations preferred.
• Previous experience with basic power and hand tools required.
• Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, woodworking and standard theatrical construction techniques preferred.
• Basic mechanical, electrical and electronic tool knowledge and use preferred.
• Scenic painting experience helpful.
• Basic computer skills using standard Microsoft Office software preferred.
• Must be Advanced Diver Certified.
• Maintain physical stamina to move freely about the Hotel and Casino, various activities such as frequent walking, prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction required.
• Communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
