Join Danfoss Power Solutions and play a key role in our global automation transformation, helping to modernize and standardize test stand technologies used across our Test Labs worldwide. In this role, you will work with colleagues in Slovakia, Germany, the USA, and China to develop automation solutions that deliver reliable, repeatable, and high-quality test results.

As an Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the development of next-generation control systems, supporting the migration to Siemens-based automation platforms and driving continuous improvements in performance, functionality, and cybersecurity. Your work will directly support our ability to innovate and deliver world-class solutions to our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and enhance Siemens PLC and HMI control systems to improve test stand performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Implement global automation standards and support the migration to Siemens-based technologies, enabling consistent testing processes across locations.
• Lead automation modernization projects, ensuring systems remain secure, efficient, and aligned with evolving business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, performing root cause analysis and supporting global operations both on-site and remotely.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple regions to define, document, and deploy automation solutions that deliver measurable business value.

What We're Looking For

• Experience with Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal and industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of WinCC, drive technologies, and electrical control systems.
• Understanding of measurement technology, signal conditioning, and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagnose technical issues in automation equipment.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively within global, cross-functional teams.
