This role requires detailed knowledge of software testing concepts and hands-on experience in software automation tools.
Role is responsible for executing established QA methodologies, processes and test strategies that guide Agile software testing and contribute to overall quality of applications
Project Delivery
Design and document test case and automation test scripts
Execute both manual and automated testing
Design and document detailed functional, integration, exploratory and regression test suites.
Participate in sizing user stories.
Provide support to team members in building/maintaining automation frameworks.
Log defects uncovered during testing
Provide daily QA status reports
Prepare status reports for management
Quality
Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
Ensure that the engagements are delivered within budget and time
Ensure that documents are prepared with no quality issue
People
Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed
Inculcate and exhibit KPMG values in everyday conduct
Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior all the times

Mandatory technical & functional skills
Good understanding of SDLC/STLC.
Hands-on experience working in Agile environment on manual and automated testing.
Ability to perform functional, regression and integration testing across multiple platforms.
Proficient with automated frameworks and tools such as Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/Webdriver I/O etc.
Performance Testing using JMeter or similar.
Experience in Test Case management and Defect management (e.g., JIRA, ADO).
Defect triage and defect reporting.
Proficiency in Java/Python/JavaScript.
Experience working with distributed team members.

Educational qualifications
Graduation: B.Tech
Post-Graduation: M.Tech
with good understanding and experience of software testing fundamentals as well as automation testing.
Work experience
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in relevant discipline.
